01 |
Arrival
in Kunming
Upon your arrival,
our guide will pick you up at the airport
and transfer to your hotel. Visit the
Bamboo Monastery.
Bamboo
Monastery: A Tang Dynasty (618-907
A.D.) temple known for its Arhat statues,
is the most famous of Kunming's temples.
The present Bamboo temple was rebuilt
in the Guangxu Era (1833 to 1890). |

Kunming
- Stone Forest - Kunming
After breakfast,
drive 90 KM to Lunan county to visit
the Stone Forest. Back to Kunming in
the afternoon. Visit the Golden Temple.

Stone
Forest: The most remarkable natural
phenomena. It consists of innumerable
bizarre shaped ancient limestone cliffs
and peaks created by wind and water
erosion some 270 million years ago.
Golden
Temple: A Daoist temple, the main
building of which is cast entirely
in bronze weighing about 280 tons.

Drive from Kunming
to Xinping. Visit Mt. Mopan Forest Park,
villages of Yi and Hani minority people.

Drive to Duo
Yi Shu in the morning, see the sunrise
at the terraced-fields. Visit the spectacular
terraced-fields at Quanfu Zhuang and
Jinkou Village. After lunch, visit terraced-fields
at Laohu Zui, Baoshan Zhai and Bada.

Yuanyang

Drive from Yuanyang
to Jianshui, enjoy the beautiful scenery
along the road. Visit the Family Zhu's
Garden and the famous Confucius Temple.

Zu's Garden: This grand complex
is a typical local residence with distinctive
features, it has a total area of 20,000
square meters and a floor space of 5,000
square meters, precious ancient architectures
of hundred of years are perfectly preserved
here.
Jianshui
Confucius Temple: The biggest temple
in Yunnan Province, built in the 22nd
year of the Zhiyuan era of the Yuan
Dynasty (1285). |

Drive from Jianshui
to Kunming, on the way, visit the beautiful
Fuxian Lake in Chengjiang County. (B+L)
Fuxian Lake: At an altitude of 1,750
meters, waters with a depth of 153 meters,
Fuxian is the second deepest lake in
Yunnan, An old story goes that an unknown
old city of ancient "Yunnan Kingdom"
had sunk deep at the bottom of the Fuxian
Lake millennia years ago. enjoy a delicious
fish lunch. |

from Kunming
Tour to the Dragon
Gate in Western Hills, then visit Bird
& Flower market. Transfer to the
airport for your departure, end of service.

songs by lovely birds, perfect for hiking.
