The course has ingenious layout with different natural landscape between the front nine and the back nine. The clubhouse and villa are constructed in a European-American style which is full of nature. Golfers will relaxed and comfortable when play in such a Shangri-la course. Situated in Ganhaizi at the eastern foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang, this golf course was open to the public in October 2001. Lijiang Waterville Lakefront International Golf Club is located at the foot of Mount Wenbi and is only 8 km from the Ancient Town of Lijiang. Winding along Wenbihai Lake, with Yulong Snow Mountain in the background, the golf course features beautiful natural views from a hill top and the surrounding lake. The new Yulong County is located to the east, Mount Wenbi to the south, Yulong Snow Mountain and Lijiang Ancient Town to the north, a Naxi village to the west, and the pristine Wenbihai Lake centered in the middle of the property.

Dali Stone Mountain Golf Club is the first-and currently the only-golf course in Dali City.
