01 |
Arrival
in Kunming
Upon your arrival,
our guide will pick you up at the airport
and transfer to your hotel. Visit the
Bamboo Monastery.
Bamboo
Monastery: A Tang Dynasty (618-907
A.D.) temple known for its Arhat statues,
is the most famous of Kunming's temples.
The present Bamboo temple was rebuilt
in the Guangxu Era (1833 to 1890).

02 |
Kunming
- Stone Forest - Kunming
After breakfast,
drive 90 KM to Lunan county to visit
the Stone Forest. Back to Kunming in
the afternoon. Visit the Golden Temple.

Stone
Forest: The most remarkable natural
phenomena. It consists of innumerable
bizarre shaped ancient limestone cliffs
and peaks created by wind and water
erosion some 270 million years ago.
Golden
Temple: A Daoist temple, the main
building of which is cast entirely
in bronze weighing about 280 tons.

03 |
Kunming
- Lijiang
Take morning
flight to Lijiang. Visit the Jade Dragon
Snow Mountain, the Baisha Murals, the
Ancient Shuhe Village of Naxi people.
In the afternoon, visit the Black Dragon
Pool and Lijiang Ancient Town. (B+L)
Jade
Dragon Snow Mountain: The much
famed mountain is situated some 15
km. north of Lijiang County, with
thirteen peaks resembling jade pillars
holding the sky, it stands majestically
on the east side of the Jinshajiang
River. The main peak, Mount Fan (Shanzifeng),
is 5,596 m. above sea level, and is
annually snowcapped.
Baisha Murals: Lijiang's murals
are works of the Ming Dynasty, chiefly
created from the Hongwu to the Wanli
eras. They were originally distributed
among the Juexiansi Temple and twelve
others, nine of which fell to ruins.
The remaining four temples have altogether
55 murals, with a total area of 139.22
sq. m.
Naxi
people: Naxi literature is rich
in form and content. Besides works
by Naxi scholars and writers, there
is a repository of oral folk literature.
Black
Dragon Pool: As the water is as
green and lucid as jade, the pond
is also entitled "Yuquan"
or Jade Fountain. On the bank of the
pond willows hang their withes like
silk thread. One can see arbours and
pavilions beside the pond, temples
hidden in the trees and variegated
flowers found everywhere.
Lijiang
Ancient Town: The county town
of Lijiang is also called Dayanzhen,
famous for its scientific architectural
layout. Crisscrossed by crystal-clear
rivers and meandering cobbled streets,
it has a high research value and is
a treasure in the field of urban construction
in China.

04 |
Lijiang
Tour to the
Tiger Leaping Gorge and the First bend
of the Yangtze River. (B+L)
Tiger
Leaping Gorge: One of the longest,
deepest and narrowest gorges in the
world.
First bend of the Yangtze River:
The upper reaches of the Yangtze River
is named the Jinsha River, which originates
from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The
Jinsha River flowed southward along
the Hengduan Mountain ranges and was
forced to the turn to north because
of the Alpine movements which caused
changes in the earth's physiognomy.
When the river reaches Shigu Township,
it makes an abrupt turn and flows further
northward, forming the rare V-shape
bend. |

05 |
Lijiang - Kunming
Take morning
flight to Kunming. Tour to the Dragon
Gate in Western Hills, then visit
Bird & Flower market. Transfer
to the airport for your departure,
end of service.(B+L)
Western
Hills: Located at the west bank
of the Dianchi
Lake, is set in mountains well
covered by evergreen woods and filled
with sweet songs by lovely birds,
perfect for hiking. Dragon Gate consists
of the Sanqing Temple Complex and
the Dragon Gate Grotto Complex.

on two persons sharing one twin or double
standard room with private facilities.

between airport or railway station and hotel

air tickets of the domestic flight or soft
berth/seat train tickets between cities

Excellent tour Guiding.
All normal sightseeing tours in each city
with English-speaking guide and admission
fees where applicable. Our guide will not
fly with you from one city to another. Upon
your arrival at each city, a new local guide
and driver will pick you up, be with you
for local tour and see you off after you
finish the itinerary of each city.

Should a twin room
is needed by a single guest, supplement of
the twin room will be charged.

is single supplement? -
The hotel is based on double occupancy. If
the visitor travels alone or the number of
the travelers is odd (such as 3, 5, 7...),
who stays in one single room has to pay the
single room supplement. As the hotel is on
double occupancy.
4. Personal Expenses
Expenses of a personal
nature such as laundry, drinks, fax, telephone
call, optional activities or sightseeing,
overweight baggage charges or meals not indicated,
ect.

6. Tips to guides and
drivers
Suggested tips: USD12-14
to tour guide per day, USD 8-12 to driver
per day, but depending on their service, it's
