Kunming,
the capital city of Yunnan Province, also known

It's not a place of great culture or old buildings.

a seat in the Dianchi Lake and watch the seagulls,

 Kunming,
which is situated in central Yunnan and north
of the Dianchi Basin, is skirted on three
sides by mountains, with one side opening
onto the Dianchi Lake. The city is nicknamed
"City of Spring" due to the fact
that it is covered all the year round with
the rich verdure of trees and plants. Endowed
with a pleasant climate, the city's 15,000
square kilometres of land is adorned with
more than 400 kinds of flowers.

Snow Mountain,
towering like a pyramid is located about 10km
west of Deqing City in Diqing Prefecture.
As the sun rises in the east, the snow-mountain
looks splendid, draped in gold. Low altitude
modern glaciers, can be found in this area,
of particular interest to those engaged in
geological research. Mingyuchia Glacier and
Sichia Glacier stretch down to the forest
at an elevation of 2,700 meters; this area
is accessible. However, the highest peak,
Kawageber Peak some 6,740 meters above sea
level, is still a "virgin peak", untouched
till now......
